Nikki Maynard

Behaviour Support Practitioner

Nikki is a Behaviour Specialist at Kameleon Group working across Tasmania.

Nikki has a passion for educating and supporting, she trained as a secondary teacher at UTAS in 2012 and soon transitioned into work with at-risk children and youth from traumatic backgrounds in both a community and custodial setting, supporting them to engage in education, providing pro-social modelling, and helping them realise their full potential.

Nikki believes in prevention, rather than treatment, it’s this proactive and collaborative approach that Nikki utilises to achieve positive outcomes and empowerment for young people and their families. Nikki prides herself on her ability to build a professional rapport with the people she works with and attributes this to her ability to act with integrity and honesty.

Nikki is professional, approachable and engaging and is adored by her clients. We are excited to have Nikki as a Kameleon, and we look forward to seeing the positive results for individuals and families.
