Nadine is a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner with a strong background in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), early intervention and special education.
She holds a Master of Education (Advanced), specialising in Early Childhood Education and Learning Difficulties, from Edith Cowan University. She also holds a Bachelor of Elementary Education, majoring in Special Education.
Her career spans several roles, including PBS Practitioner, Key Worker, Case Manager/Behaviour Therapist and RBT Therapist. Along the way, she has worked with children and people with disability across clinical, school, home and community settings.
Nadine’s day-to-day experience includes conducting Functional Behaviour Assessments and developing Interim and Comprehensive Behaviour Support Plans. She also works with restrictive practices, collects and analyses behavioural data, and implements evidence-based ABA and PBS strategies. Throughout, she collaborates closely with families and multidisciplinary teams.
What motivates Nadine is the chance to improve quality of life, independence, communication and meaningful skill development for people with developmental and behavioural support needs. She’s committed to person-centred, evidence-based practice, supporting positive alternatives to behaviours of concern, and working collaboratively with families and support teams.
