Azraa is a Behaviour Support Practitioner based in Melbourne, Victoria. She brings extensive experience in implementing behaviour supports with children, young people, and families. In particular, she works with those affected by autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, and other developmental and behavioural challenges.
Azraa has worked both independently and as part of multidisciplinary teams. She collaborates with psychologists, speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, educators, and families. Her approach draws on Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), complemented by parent coaching and evidence-based Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) strategies. Together, these ensure interventions are practical, ethical, and sustainable.
Azraa’s work includes conducting Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBA) and developing and reviewing Positive Behaviour Support Plans. In addition, she equips families with the skills and confidence to embed supports into daily routines. Azraa is also experienced in creating inclusive environments in educational and OSHC settings. There, she implements visual systems, proactive strategies, and structured programs to foster independence, skill acquisition, and social connection.
Guided by empathy and person-centred values, Azraa is committed to empowering participants and their families to achieve their goals. She believes in the transformative impact of collaborative practice. In her view, the best outcomes happen when families, professionals, and communities work together. This teamwork helps children and young people live safe, fulfilling, and purposeful lives.
