Michael has over 10 years experience supporting participants of all ages who have physical and intellectual disabilities. His goal is to improve clinical practice, quality of life, and protect human rights for his participants. He has provided expert advice on best practices and clinical governance to community services and government agencies and has worked with the NSW Department of Communities and Justice as an Independent Behaviour Specialist to reduce restrictive practices. Michael is also skilled at navigating the complex relationship between Child Safety and the NDIS.
Michael has a Bachelor of Psychology with first-class honours and has worked as a sessional academic at Griffith School of Applied Psychology, where he led tutorials and mentored students.
